Crafting Quality

In the best light
This portfolio represents the culmination of years of work towards building my videographic, photographic, artistic, and marketing abilities.
I am Matthew Canning, or CrafterOfSwords,
and I am a dedicated YouTuber and
digital media / content creator.
My Portfolio
This is my portfolio; a selection of my best works, across six categories, and a testament to the skills I've developed over years of driven, passionate media work, primarily on my YouTube channel.

Social Media
My YouTube channel is my core, but I have some reach with my other social media; Twitter, BlueSky, and Flickr. Since 2017, I've also hosted a Discord community, to connect closer with my audience, gain feedback, suggestions, input, and even make some nice friends & connections in my scene. Twitter, as it has for years, provides me with a solid connection to my community and potential audience. BlueSky, hopefully, will someday replace it. Flickr offers me an easy and effective place to share my cinematic content. While I don't currently run any accounts for them, I also am familiar with Instagram, Facebook & TikTok.

About Me
Hi! I am Matthew Canning, or CrafterOfSwords. I have been a video maker, in one form or another, for as long as I can remember. My video making started all the way back in grade 3, when I made videos for school projects with friends. Over the years, that transformed into something more serious, and eventually became my chosen career, kicking off with making content about the Battlefield franchise, along with some adjacent titles on occasion.
Although I may not be a "big YouTuber", I still consider what I've done to have been a great success. I've reached millions of views across my hundreds of videos, and have garnered the respect of many people, both players, creators, and officials, in the Battlefield community. My deep-dive into video and media creation all happened during high school. My commitment to being timely with my content led to days where I'd have to wake up as early as 4AM, in order to be able to make, publish and promote videos before I had to leave for school.
All of this is the culmination of years of primarily self-taught video making,
and a deep passion that I, to this day, am still learning more about.
